Usually most of the expensive engine breakdowns are caused by cooling system failures. Check the antifreeze level regularly throughout the winter. You should also have non-freezing liquid for your windshield washer. If your battery is getting a bit old, you may want to have it looked at before it becomes an issue during the winter.
